Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and got to spend some time stamping. I did, at a really fun class I took. But I'm going to keep you in suspense and save that tale for another day! Saturday night I decided I really need to face the reality that Christmas is coming whether or not I'm ready. So to help me get ready I decided it was time to do something with the Season of Style This and That Journal that I purchased when the Holiday Catalog came out.
I kept it simple because I am going to use this, hopefully everyday, during the month of December. I want to be able to flip the cover over to make notes so I tied a piece of that gorgeous Cherry Cobbler ribbon into a flat knot all the way around the cover. Christmas Ornaments were cut with the Holiday Ornament Framelits and a quick label stamped from Christmas Messages.
I decided I'm going to make this book work for me for several Christmas seasons. I used the Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set to get my December 2013 calendar ready to go. The spiral spine was in the way just a tad when I stamped the year. Here's the first page ready to get me going...I hope. :)
I use pencil to write in my calendars, easier to make changes that way. I have started working on some other pages too, like the "Glad Tidings" section where my Christmas card log goes and the "Here Comes Santa Claus" section for gift ideas and budgeting. I'll share more as the season goes along. I think I am going to not only enjoy my This and That Journal but also it's going to benefit my organization this Christmas season. I'll keep you posted!
