I'm still working on my Thank You Notes and in a very few minutes this afternoon I was able to get this one made....
Isn't it great that all the products I'm sharing today are now available to you? They're not sneak peeks any longer. The Occasions Catalog is live and active today. Plus, you'll earn Sale-a-bration gifts free for each $50 (from any catalog) you spend on Stampin' Up! Product. Let the fun begin! I love the new Hello You Thinlits Dies. The font is adorable. I called this thicker thanks because I layered four of these "thanks" on top of each other. I like the look of the thicker letters. They remind me of the thicker stickers I used when scrapbooking. It's so easy to layer these using Tombow Mono Multi-purpose Glue. That's not Designer Series Paper you see on today's card! Do you know what it is? Well, I'll tell you..no secrets here...it's Washi Sheets. I loved working with it! I liked it so much I put it on the envelope flap too. Crushed Curry is the color of the Petal Potpourri bloom on the card. It had been awhile since I had used Crushed Curry and I had to re-ink my pad. The coordinating Flower Medallion punch worked perfectly to trim the flower out. Another touch of Crushed Curry was added under the Washi Paper. It's a narrow piece of Crushed Curry card stock trimmed with the Scalloped Blade for the Rotary Trimmer. Finally, a Tangerine Tango Baker's Twine bow tops an Island Indigo Button that was added to the center of the flower. I think I'm going to make another one of these in a different color palette!
Inside the card I stamped another flower and used a setiment from Crazy About You. Now to get this one out to the mailbox!
There's a lot going on at Stampin' Up! today! I already mentioned The Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration going live today. If you order from on on-line store remember that if you choose "Don't Contact" that I will not know who placed an order with me. I appreciate your orders and love to follow up with a thank you. I do respect your decisions though.
It's also Tuesday and you know what that means...new weekly deals. Click below to see what they have for us this week.
Plus, it's the first Tuesday in January so we should check out the new Digital Downloads at My Digital Studio...
Is that enough good stuff? It should keep us busy for awhile! I'm hoping to stay busy in my craft room today. I've got stuff everywhere up there. Sewing on one side and paper crafting on the other side. I'm still working on sewing baby things but I'm making progress! At least I have all my Christmas decorations put away and I got my mother's Chrismas things down and put away yesterday. I hope you have a great day and if you have questions about anything please shoot me an email. - Dawn
