Yes, I totally CASEd today's card. I couldn't help myself when I saw this card I just had to try it with Stampin' Up! supplies. Now come and look at my CASEd card....
Thank heavens for My Digital Studio! It came in so handy today when I realized I couldn't use my Autumn Accents Die to cut a leaf from the center of my Whisper White panel, duh! But then I thought of MDS and that worked perfectly. I imported the Wonderfall leaf punches into my Silhouette e-cutter and zipped one of them right out. I used the leaf I cut from the panel to determine the size panel I would use to wrap the Thick Baker's Twine around. Two lines of Fast Fuse adhesive were run down each side of this panel and layers of Thick Baker's Twine were wrapped around it. Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding Twine were wrapped first and I almost ended with another layer of Crisp Cantaloupe...but then I remembered some Summer Starfruit Thick Twine from a Sale-a-bration pack. So I pulled that out to add another color. I wasn't sure Strawberry Slush or Coastal Cabana, though gorgeous, would look quite as "Fallish". Then I adhered this to the Crisp Cantaloupe card base. Two layers of Stampin' Dimensionals were needed to place the cut out layer on top of the twine layer. I think this is a fun Fall birthday card for an October birthday!
Inside is a little light due to ink colors. Check out how well the leaf image from For All Things (that I seem to use everyday lately) goes with the die!
