Happy Valentines Day! I saved the final Valentine card I made to share today. This one was for a special teenage boy. I find the older boys get the harder it is to make cards for them. This one is a throwback to something he used to make for us when he was little. Take a look and then I'll explain.
Included with every card he used to give us a maze was included. They were all hand drawn either on the back of the card or on a separate piece of paper. It was so cute and I still have mine! When I saw this download for my Silhouette I knew this would be the perfect card. The sentiment was included in the download only it had "ME" at the end so I searched my fonts until I found the perfect match. I resized it and cut it out to complete the front of the card.
Inside the card I used Thoughtful Banners and Teeny Tiny Wishes to create a sentiment to go along with the outside sentiment. Then a couple of rows of little hearts were added with an image from Heart Happiness.
And I hope your Valentines Day is AMAZING too! We're having a little Valentine pancake dinner with pancakes shaped like hearts. I did this last year for our grandchildren. We'll make it a tradition by continuing this year. Their parents will be home later tonight and we'll head home tomorrow...to rest! :) - Dawn
