It's the third Monday of March and this week The Stamp Review Crew is using Project Life Point & Click for our projects. In case this is your first visit with us, we're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who hop on the first and third Monday of each month. We all use the same stamp set to create our projects and it's so much fun to hop along and see all the different projects made with the same stamp set. If you get lost at any time along the way just click the banner or link above and you'll go to The Stamp Review Crew site where you'll find a full list of this week's hoppers.
You've may have come here from Tanya Boser's blog, Tinkerin' in Ink, where I know you found lots of inspiration! She always amazes me with her projects!
My intention was to get a scrapbook page done using Project Life Point & Click but I haven't been very good about scrapbooking lately. Then I came up with this fun idea for something a little different. Take a look…..
I'm using Project Life Point & Click to make a Girl's Night Out invitation and look how well it worked! I'm so excited to make a few more of these and get them in the mail. I started this project on my Whisper White panel by laying out the stamps that I wanted to use on it. I had to keep reminding myself to lay them down with the bottom, or flat side, up so that I could put my Stampin' block right on them to pick them all up at once. You can see how I did this here. Once they were on the block they were inked up in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamped. Then came the fun part, adding my own touches. I used the Alphabet Rotary Stamp to add the words. I love how easy that makes things. The arrow was stamped on Bermuda Bay card stock, trimmed out and layered over the stamped image with a Stampin' Dimensional. The word bubble was stamped on Crushed Curry and cut out with the Word Bubble Framelits. The Skinny Mini Alphabet letters fit neatly in the word bubble with G.N.O., Girl's Night Out or Guy's Night Out, whichever you're planning. In the other word bubble the heart was colored with a Strawberry Slush Stampin' Write Marker and a heart from the Itty Bitty Epoxy Stickers was added for some shine. I can't wait to get busy on the rest of my invites! You know what else is great about this invitation? If I just trim down the sides a little bit I can slide it right into a 4"x6" pocket on a Project Life page along with pictures from my GNO and document my event!
I used My Digital Studio to make the inside of the invitation. I found some great digital images to mimic those from Project Life Point & Click….
Now that you've seen my project you get hop along to Rochelle Blok's blog, The Stamping Blok. Rochelle's creations are sure to inspire!
