It's Friday and we made banners last night! It was so much fun. I'm already looking forward to making Christmas banners next month. Plans are underway!
I have been doing a few My Digital Studio projects for people lately and I thought I would share them with you. I love working on MDS. It is a different medium for creating but I think it's fun and it really has its place. You all know I love paper but print is good too!
This first project was a change of address card my daughter asked me to make for their recent move. I acutally got it right on the first try! Amazing!!
These are all done on White backgrounds. If I would have been smart I would have put an outline (mat) around them so you could see them better! You can click on any of them to see them better.
This next project was really fun. I started it back in August while we were on vacation. A friend asked me to make an invitation that would encompass all the holidays through the end of the year. They are going to have their celebration in November before it gets too hectic. Neat idea, huh? Anyway this is what I came up with for her.
Again sorry, no mat! I was really pleased with how this one turned out. Only the Candy Corn and the Tree are full strength color. The other images have a decreased opacity so that I could print the wording on top of them. I can hardly wait until they return from Stampin' Up! so I can get a look at the printed version. I just sent them off this week.
The final thing is a baby shower invitation. Again, this was really fun to work on! The request was for something Fallish, not too babyish or cutesy. Here's my take on that request.
So there you have it, three fun and unique projects. Each of these was custom designed for the occasion using My Digital Studio. Another fun thing was that the backs of these weren't just plain white either, I added a cute, coordinating Designer Series Print to the back of each! If you're hesitating about purchasing My Digital Studio, for $19.95, I really think it's a wonderful product. There are tons of video tutorials on www.mydigitalstudio.net. I'm not planning a thing this weekend. What about you? Whatever you do, make it fun! Thanks for stopping by today and see you on Monday! - Dawn
