I'm down to our last two grandsons' who are celebrating birthdays in 2016! Today I'm sharing Luke's card. He'll turn 7 on Saturday. I found this diorama card on our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator site that inspired me. Unfortunately, when I went to link back to her website today the server was down. Anyway, I think Luke will really like his card.
Always an Adventure and the coordinating dies in Outdoor Adventure Framelits is perfect for this type of card. I blended some ink onto Whisper White card stock for the sky background. The snow-capped mountains went over the sky. The sky and mountain layer went right on the very back of the card. The next layer is the trees, cut from Garden Green card stock. The tent was stamped in Tangerine Tango and the hot air balloon popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals way in the background was stamped in Elegant Eggplant (they're Clemson fans hence the colors). Finally, up front I added grass with a Lawn Fawn die. The bear is sneaking through that grass. The sign post was created with the Labeler Alphabet stamp set by heat embossing the words in Whisper White and trimming out the signs. "7th" was added with the retired Little Numbers Dies. It's fun to personalize the birthday greeting and I think Luke will like it! I may just have to do my own tutorial for this one!

Now I'm off to get Luke's gift wrapped and in the mail. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful day! - Dawn
