Once again you've got my old brain percolating Dawn. I love the idea of creating a background out of scraps I would otherwise send to the landfill, sob. I can't tell you how much I love that chair ! Adirondack chairs bring back such memories. My great - grandmother had them in her backyard. This card is saying come sit and watch the boats go by. I love it! Great job

Awesome card and awesome blog post Dawn. Love the background and this new set. I die cut some chairs earlier this week and they are waiting to be made into cards.
And, that's exactly what I need to do. Just breathe!!!
Thanks for a great blog post Dawn. Love your card and your thoughts!

I have done this technique, but using two different directions for the placement of the strips. Begin with a long strip to use as your divider. Adhere strips the same direction on half of the card. Then adhere strips at a 90 degree angle on the other half of the card. Makes a spectacular item. Thanks for sharing your card. Great job.
