Oops! I totally forgot to get my post done for yesterday! I would say I don't know what I was thinking but obviously, I wasn't thinking! In the meantime, a very good friend of mine had birthday over the weekend. I had her card made for awhile but I wanted to wait until after her birthday to share it. I know she received it now so I'm safe sharing it.
Since it feels like springtime around here this jar of blossoms seemed appropriate for a birthday wish. The Jar of Love stamp set is so sweet and bouquets are so much fun to put together using it. There are quite a few options for making bouquets too. Most images in the set have a coordinating framelit die in the Everyday Jars Framelit Dies which makes it very easy to trim out all the pieces you need. The bouquet looks great in the jar and on the Hardwood tabletop too. The background in Pool Party card stock was just too plain for me, so some large embossed Polka Dots were the perfect addition, they're my favorite! Since real canning jars have gold lids this one was embossed in gold!
Inside the card I used the Stylized Birthday. This is one of my very favorite stamps in this year's Annual Catalog. I surrounded it with more blossoms.
I'll leave it at that! I've got lots to do today, paperwork is at the top of the list. I have more wallpaper to remove and some cards to get done. Do you see a paper trail in these chores? :) I hope you have a great day! - Dawn
