I'm using Lift Me Up to send Birthday Wishes to our son this week. I've actually had this set out on the craft table quite a bit lately and I'm really enjoying using it. Have you tried it out yet? Let me show you yesterday's project...
A big colorful balloon are taking our birthday wishes north. I hope the wind is blowing in the right direction! All those pieces backing the balloon, there are dies for everyone of them in the coordinating Up & Away Thinlits. How easy does that make things?! After using the Fine Tip Glue Pen to attach all the pieces to the back of the Smoky Slate balloon I popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals onto a piece of Soft Sky card. First, I stamped the smaller balloon images with Soft Sky ink for the background. Next I wanted a banner to fly the birthday greeting in and I wanted it to say "Sending Birthday Wishes". I had to piece that together using stamps from Sunshine Sayings and Build a Birthday. It worked and I could use the Banner Framelits to cut it out, barely! :) Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine was perfect to use for tying the banner to the balloon. And it's off, taking our greetings to its destination!
Inside the card, a few more balloons and another sentiment pieced together again. This time I used stamps from Suite Sentiments and Party With Cake.
I got a few cards crossed off my list yesterday but there are still more to go! Have a great day! - Dawn
