Jar of Love, that's the set on review by The Stamp Review Crew this week. I cannot believe it's the third Monday in August already. Be sure to click the link above or the banner to go to the website for The Stamp Review Crew. You can read all about us there. I will tell you that since we're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world you may not find all the links "live" yet. We give everyone Sunday night to get all the kinks worked out. You'll find a full list of this week's hoppers at the link above too, just in case you get lost along the way.
You may have come here from This Pink Rooster, Sue Plote's blog. Sue has surely already amazed her with her project!
My project today is simple, well in appearance anyway. I had to take a picture of it while putting it together so I'd know where all the pieces went.
One of my favorite things to do with the jars in this set is to stamp them in Smoky Slate ink onto Mint Macaron (used here) or Pool Party card stock. Then I love to emboss, in White Stampin' Emboss Powder, one of the labels for the jars in across the front. There are four awesome labels, that resemble the "Ball" label, to use. I filled this jar chock full of flowers in pinks, purple and yellow. No fussy cutting needed with the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits. There's a framelit for every blossom. Some of the flowers are adhered directly onto the tag and others are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. The tag is Crumb Cake card stock which goes perfectly with the Burlap Ribbon. The piece of Blushing Bride Baker's Twine tied around the top is the finishing touch.
Look where it ended up…on one of the super cute and very functional Petite Cafe Bags attached with a Gold Binder Clip. I used these bags for all my Christmas goodie giving last year and they were perfect.
Another view of the tag...
Now you're ready to hop along to Stampin' Seasons, Linda Callahan's blog. I love seeing Linda's blog feed come up in my mail. I know that not only will I find an awesome card but probably a cute story too!
