Here we are again, The Stamp Review Crew, with another blog hop. Have you hopped with us before? If not, we're a group of international Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and our hops feature one stamp set. This week it's Balloon Celebration from the Occasions Catalog that we're all using to bring you lots of inspiration for your projects. There's a coordinating punch with this set making it even more fun. In case you're hopping on Sunday night not all of the links may be live yet. Since we're from all over the globe we go live a little early to work out the kinks. By Monday everything should be good to go!
If you didn't start here, you may have come here from Kelly Kent's blog, My Papercraft Journey. I'm sure her projects have already "wow'd" you!
I used the balloons from this set in my very favorite way to use them, with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder.
It's My Party (here I always want to interject "and I'll cry if I want to") helps set off the star of the show, Balloon Celebration. I have seen this design several times and decided I was going to use it for today's card. It kind of reminds me of unwrapping a box and having a bunch of balloons float right out! No package can go out of my house without some kind of bow and this cutie was made with the Bow Builder Punch. Confetti, in the form of It's My Party Enamel Dots spilled right over the box and all over the place!
Inside the card you'll find one more balloon about to float off...
Now you're ready to hop along to Bruno Bertucci's blog, Stampin' Bruno, where you'll find more inspiration for using Balloon Celebration yourself!
p.s. The Stampin' Up! Retirement list comes out today at 1:00 Mountain Time, just in case you're like me and are anxious to see what friends we'll part with this year.
