It's the Monday before Christmas and The Stamp Review Crew is hopping again! This week we're reviewing Festival of Trees. We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, located around the world, who hop together twice a month, on the first and third Monday. We all use the same stamp set for our projects. That way you get lots of inspiration to use your stamps too. If you're reading this on Sunday night you may not find all the hoppers live yet. We use Sunday to work out the kinks. By Monday all should be well! If you get lost along the way just click the link or banner above and you'll be on the The Stamp Review Crew Blog, where you'll find a full list of this week's hoppers.
If you didn't start here you may have arrived from Jessica Williams blog, The Paper Caper. Her projects are always full of inspiration!
For my card today I decided to use some non-traditional Christmas colors, again!
The Blushing Bride Glitter Paper (sneak peek) is what started this card. Then there's that cute piece of Designer Series Paper in Merry Moments DSP Stack, with those little ornaments already printed on it. From there I went to making a shaker card. I'm so glad I had those Blushing Bride sequins to pull off the string and put in the shaker. A Christmas Tree was stamped in the background of the shaker area before adding the Rose Red layer on top. To get the background, in gold embossing, I used some of the other images in Festival of Trees. I'm giving this card to a special friend that I don't see often…she like glimmer!
Inside is another tree. This one was stamped in Blushing Bride with gold embossing too...
Now you're ready to hop along to Nancy Smith's blog, Iguana Stamp. She's another one who always provides some amazing projects!
