It's the third Monday of May and time for another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. I always like to tell you a little bit about us in case you've never hopped with us before. We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who hop on the first and third Monday each month. What makes this hop different is that all the participants use the same stamp set for our projects. I am always amazed at the variety of ideas that I find on every hop! We're hoping you'll find some good inspiration as you hop with us! In case you get lost along the way click the link above and you'll find yourself at the Stamp Review Crew page with the full list of this week's hops there. Soon you'll be right back on track.
This week's stamp set happens to be a favorite of mine, Four Feathers. This set came out in the Holiday catalog along with coordinating framelits. Sadly, neither will be around after June 2nd. So, if you don't have them and want them don't wait! You may have come from Heidi Baks blog, RunningwScissorsStamper, and I know you found amazing inspiration there.
For my project today old meets new on a set of cards I made to share with you. I used the new 2015-17 In Colors on these quick and easy cards.
These cards are note card size at 3 1/2" x 5" and I took pictures in two groups. On the first two colors, Cucumber Crush (Which I cannot stop calling Cool Cucumber!) and Watermelon Wonder, I used feathers stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. All the embossing is done with the new Boho Chick Embossing Folder. Black Baker's Twine bows were attached to the feathers with Tombow Multi-purpose glue. All the sentiments are from And Many More and are stamped in the same black ink. Then they were punched out with the retiring Modern Label Punch. One matching feather was stamped on the envelope too.
Here are the other three In Colors...
On the Delight Dijon, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe I switched to Early Espresso ink and Baker's Twine. And that's it! I didn't stamp the inside of these cards yet but I will!
Thanks for hopping by today! Okay, you're ready to hop along to The Stamping Blok where you'll find more awesome inspiration from Rochelle Blok.
