It's the third Monday of the month and that means The Stamp Review Crew is back with another fun blog hop for you. In case you have never hopped with us before, we're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who have a blog hop on the first and third Monday of each month. We review one stamp set each time, which means you'll see lots of ways to use the same stamp set. We have a great group of hoppers and the ideas never cease to amaze me! If you get lost along the hop simply click on the image above and you'll be at The Stamp Review Crew page where you'll find a full list of hoppers to get you back on track.
You may have started with me or come from Mike Funke's blog, Stampin-Style, where I have NO doubt you found something AMAZING!
I have to admit that I had trouble with this one! There have been SO many amazing projects created with this stamp set so I teamed Amazing Birthday up with Cupcake Party for my card today. Take a look...
I went straight to my Color Coach for some color inspiration. I started out with a Smoky Slate Card Base but went to white the further I got into the card. I have not used Cupcake Party as much as I should have and I think it's a good companion to Amazing Birthday. The Strawberry Slush panel down the side is from the 2013-15 In Color DSP Stack and was punched with the Scallop Border Punch. The Banner Framelits, which coordinate with Amazing Birthday, trimmed out all the banners on the card. Of course, the Cupcake Builder Punch easily punched out this cupcake. I remembered that I had some leftover Strawberry Slush Sequins from a Paper Pumpkin kit and they were scattered around the card. I always use Crystal Effects to attach sequins. It doesn't leave any stick residue when it's dry. The Blackberry Bliss Stitched Satin Ribbon was tied into a bow to wrap up this card.
Inside the card I used a couple more images from Amazing Birthday...
Now you'll hop off to Yapha Mason's blog, Stamps & Scraps with Yapha. She's sure to have another AMAZING project to share.
Cards & Coffee is happening in just a bit so I'm off to be sure I have all my stamps, punches and snail(s) in a row! Thanks for stopping by today, I always enjoy your visits. I hope you have a great Monday and that you'll hop back tomorrow. - Dawn
