This week The Stamp Review Crew is using Kinda Eclectic in all sorts of ways to inspire you! If you've never hopped with us before, we're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who hop twice each month, on the first and third Mondays. We all create projects using the same stamp set to bring you lots of inspiration. If you get off course at any time simply click the banner above and you'll go to our page where you'll find a complete list of hoppers for this edition. We're so glad you decided to join us this week!
You've probably come here from Debra Burgin's blog, Heartfelt Inspiration. I know you've already gotten some great inspiration there!
I received Kinda Eclectic for attending Convention this year. It was hard to wait for this one as I wanted it right from the start of seeing the new catalog. I have already seen so many fun projects created using it so I had to wonder what could I do for this hop! I decided to try it with the tried and true Triple Stamping technique and I love the way it turned out. Here, I'll show you...
I chose to use this year's In Colors, except for the Baked Brown Sugar, to create my card. I love this technique. It's so easy and fun to do. The Whisper White pieces are cut at 4 x 5 1/4", 3 x 4 1/4" & 2 x 3 1/4" and stacked up. I use a tad of adhesive under each to hold in place. Stamp your images over all three layers and don't worry that they don't go all the way to the edges. The card stock layered over them will cover the "missed edges" right up. Use your card base as the first card stock layer. Then cut two more layers at 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" and 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". Be sure to keep your stamped layers going in the same direction so they match up, It's sort of like putting a puzzle together, which I love to do! I want to use this as a Thank You note so I used a greeting from Lots of Thanks and Banner Framelits to cut and layer it.
Inside the card more of the same....
Next you're hopping off to the blog of Kerry Willard Bray at Peonies and Paper Chains. Kerry never fails to have an awesome project to share and today's is no different!
