Good Monday morning! It is good when it is also The Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. Maybe you've stopped in from Scrap and Stamp With Mary, Mary Rindal's blog. She has some awesome My Digital Studio projects to share this week! Or maybe you're just starting the hop, whichever one be sure to hop all the way through to see what the whole Stamp Review Crew has for you today. If you get off course, I have a full hop list at the bottom of this post.
Now I better get busy showing you my cards today. I used a few of the stamps in Hello, Lovely in two, very different, cards. Here's the first one....
I love the colors in the Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper and had fun pulling from it for the tag. I'm loving that Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, aren't you? The ampersand was embossed with Pool Party Stampin' Emboss Powder and then fussy cut out to add to the tag. Sanding that Core'dinations Card Stock, after dry embossing it with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, really makes it stand out. Only one half of one image from Hello, Lovely was used on the tag. You'll find the other half on the inside of this card....
The next card I made using Hello, Lovely is really different from the previous one in every way. Take a look...
I had a hard time photographing this one. I had my post done Saturday but then decided to remake the pictures yesterday. I got much brighter shots by a sunny window! Eyelashes or a grass skirt, those are the things that come to my mind when I look at this card. I think it's fun! The Fringe Scissors and one inch strips of card stock in Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point & Melon Mambo and a little curling with a Bone Folder and it was as easy as that. Tangerine Tango embossing of the sentiment on the Pacific Point Card Stock really pops on the Whisper White Card Stock. I know I can't mail this card in an envelope but I can pop it in a package or a gift bag.
And the inside of this one....
Tiddbit: I found it much easier, after watching a Stampin' Up! video, to cut the fringe by moving the paper up into the open scissors rather than cutting it with the tip of the scissors.
Thanks for hopping by today. Next you'll be hopping on to Betty Traciak's blog, kittystamp, where you'll find more great Hello, Lovely projects!
